Volume is the amount of 3-dimensional space something takes up.
Imagine how much water could be in it.
Also called Capacity.

Units of volume include:
- Metric: cubic centimeters (cm3), cubic meters (m3), liters
- US Standard: fluid ounce, cubic inch, cubic foot, pints, gallons
Example: measured in meters (m):
The volume of this cuboid is 10 m × 4 m × 5 m = 200 m3

Volume = 4 3 × π × r3
