Second (angles)

When measuring angles, a second is 1/60th of a minute, and a minute is 1/60th of a degree.

The symbol for second is two tick marks: "
The symbol for minute is one tick mark: '
The symbol for degree is a small circle: °

So we have:
• 1 Degree = 60 Minutes (1° = 60')
• 1 Minute = 60 Seconds (1' = 60")

Example: 32° 30' 10'' is 32 degrees, 30 minutes and 10 seconds
