Compound Sentence (logic)

When we combine two or more simple sentences with logical operations like "and", "or", "implies" etc.

With the simple sentences:
• P: "The sun is shining."
• Q: "We will go to the beach."

We can form compound sentences like:
• P and Q: "The sun is shining and we will go to the beach."
• P or Q: "The sun is shining or we will go to the beach."
• P implies Q: "If the sun is shining, then we will go to the beach."
etc
